I'm pretty sure I posted pictures of this room in the 'green' thread last year, but since it's the kids play room here it is again. Tinkerbell theme:
The view from the door (There has to be a better way to store stuffed animals)
The other wall
The walls have two shades of green on them (a third in the trim) and are separated by light pink "pixie dust" all the way around the room. Tinkerbell is by the light switch:
Here's a close up of the Pixie Dust:
I want to glue little gems into the middle of some of them, but never seem to find the time.
Behind the door we hung a mirror at my kids height, so they can seem themselves when they play dress up:
This is a bit of an old picture, there are now little fairy 'wall clings' of the fairies in the Disney fairy books (not the movies sadly) on the closet walls.
They LOVE this room and spend a LOT of time in it. Which makes ever moment of painting it worth it.
I have a work in progress of my daughter's room. Does that count? I hope so... I always love more inspiration. I've sadly, pathetically, been working on this for almost a year. I go in spurts and there are just a ton of projects around to do. I'm hoping to actually finish the trees this week and then move on to hand painted flowers instead of stickers and some fairies and butterflies, too. I also put in butterflies on her ikea leaf canopy thing. Thanks to allaboutevelyn for getting me off my butt and working on it =]
We don't live there anymore but this is our old nursery. I loved it. Unfortunately we have had to move for work every year since then and I haven't bothered to really decorate another play room since then.
THANK YOU for posting this. My almost 3 year old LOVES Cars and we just got him the twin version of that racecar bed. I've been wondering how to decorate his room without it looking like the Cars movie exploded in there and this gave me some great ideas!
Oh how I wish my daughter's playroom was saucy enough! We have some hideous wood paneling we need to get rid of, and I still have a lot of work to do (like painting the table and chairs and hanging the faux windows under the curtains). Here it is anyways:
As a mom to a 18 month old with her second on the way [5 weeks along!] I just want to say a huge thanks to baby jesus & the mods for making this the topic for Friday's Saucy Salon. Amen.

It's a Peter Pan themed room with the main wall where the crib will go being the Darling nursery
I'll build some faux columns on the edges to break up inside & outside so you transition over to the flight wall
Then it transitions over to the Neverland wall
I'll be building a tree in the opposite corner from the lost boys with shelves in the tree to store toys and stuff.
If you want more photos they're over here http://babyq.weebly.com/index.html

This is my son Jaikob's bedroom makeover when he was 3. Sadly, he completely destroyed it.
