Some time back I tried posting all of these and was plagued by some slow server issues. So here is the repost with the picture host fixed. If you have dial-up it might take awhile. PS- I took everything with my fisheye for the ultrawide angle... the walls aren't really curved.

entrance1
That light in case you're wondering uses an AR-111 lamp which is extremely precise. It highlights the Buddha which you can't see in this shot. Of course I dig the doormat too.

entrance2
The Buddha.

entrance3
Another weird angle... tripod on the ground and me using the remote and trying to not be in the shot.

living1
Here we are at the top of the stairs in the living room. One of my photos there with the spotlight on it.

deck1
Right at the top of the stairs is the entrance to our small deck which I'll take you there before heading to the rest of the living room.

Besides additional lighting the only thing that bugs me about the living room is having the TV in it. But the way the floorplan worked out it made the most sense to put it down here. At my last place I just had a stereo in the living room which put less focus on a big TV. We've at least been good about keeping it off when guests are here.

living5
It's hard to do these pendants justice with a photo... they cast amazing colors and shadows at night.

kitchen1
The computer station was another thing I struggled in trying to find a place for. We ended up doing a built in desk here where I imagine the dining room table should have gone.

The Jesus nighlight next to the alcohol is classy.

powder1
The powder bath has portraits I've taken of all of my friends. It's one of those things that will get more crowded as the memories grow.

stairs1
Let's go upstairs...

stairs2
The geometric pattern has a story.

stairs3
The view from the top of the stairs. Originally we wanted to paint this hall but due to the high ceilings we would have to have brought in scaffolding to get all the way up there... so we came up with the pattern idea. I hate pure white walls.

hall1
The small hall we have out before the bedrooms. The stuff in that vase has been bugging me, but it looked a little weird not having anything in it at all.

listening1
One of the bedrooms turned into a stereo listening room. I need to get a couple of nice matching chairs for it.

listening2
I love that stereo.

listening3

listening4
Ken D. and I built those shelves, and they were an enormous pain in the ass to do. The CD collection approaches 1000.

joshbath1
The bathroom in the listening room is the one I use. I originally was going to paint it black like a nightclub, but was talked out of it and went with red. Red turned out to be a huge pain to paint. It's a pretty vibrant crimson which the photo doesn't really show.

joshbath2
The black thing over the door is a speaker. I pretty much have stereos in nearly every room of the house.

bed2
The green bedroom. The concept was to do a fade technique from dark to lighter greens. It turned out more striped than we intended... but I still like it.

bed1
I sleep on the side closest to the door by the way. So that's where I'm hanging out at night on the laptop while Melissa is passed out next to me.

Melissa's bathroom.

That's it. Thanks for stopping by!

Are those numbered sheep on your pillows? That's awesome...

(And I love all the bright wall colors!!)

Yeah we have two of those numbered sheep. They are so lazy though...

i was about to critique you on your photos and ask why the hell you used a fisheye to shoot all this, blah blah blah, and then tell you that your place is amazing and that you should post it in [info]saucydwellings when i realized this wasnt posted in one of the photo communities i read all the time on my friends list. and hey i guess we are in a couple of the same communities, because im pretty sure i am used to seeing your posts not here. anyway, nice job, gorgeous house!!

Critque my use of the fisheye? Fisheyes should be used everywhere!

your use of color is fantastic!

:O

I think I just orgasmed

Whoa. Hope it was in the bedroom.

Wow. I really really really dig the red hallway, the red living area and the patterns on the white wall. Really. A really stunning red.

Alas the night and lighting... Actually the entrance hall is a rich orange... as is the living room (actually a couple of different shades in there).

Oh my lord. I can't even come up with words.

I think I'm most impressed by the yellow color in the kitchen. I usually dislike yellow in kitchens, but that one is EXCEPTIONAL! Way to be amazing!

While I admit that the living room isn't my personal ideal place for a TV, the TV itself is cool as hell. It's a sleek piece of modern technology and fits in well with the decor. I paid too much for it and it's too nice to "throw out."

I remember when you posted before and I was so disappointed that the photos disappeared before I could take a really good look. I'm in complete awe. I assume you own your place - I'd love to do some really bright colors in mine but I rent and there's no way I'd ever get the walls to come out white again.

Well the key is not caring if the walls come out white again. Although I do own this place, the last apartment we lived was painted in similar vibrant colors. We primed it before we left... and it was a lot of work. But I don't think I could ever live with white walls again.

*gasp* fucking fantastic! the use of color, the dramatic lighting, everything! and the shapes painted on the walls in the stairway? absolutely brilliant!

the shapes were lazy... but turned out pretty cool.

Your place is amazing, fantastic, absolutely well put together. it all flows so well. your use of color and contrast is spectacular (what other synomyms for awesome can i come up with?).

Im moving into a new place at the end of this month and I gathered some ideas from your place. It is just.. G R E A T.

thanks... moving into a new space is overwhelming but exciting... you spend soooo much money so fast

i must agree with everyone, your place is awesome...

i usually hate white walls too, more so if they're bare. i'm renting right now, and i'm not allowed to paint, so all my walls are white and i'm filling them up with photos and art, just so they don't feel so empty and...blah.

We weren't really allowed to paint at our last place, but we did anyway.

What intricate attention to details.
It's mega cute.
I am adding this to my LJ memories.

Oh.my.god. Will you come and decorate my house??? You have amazing taste. I seriously NEED the mirror in your wife's bathroom!

I c a squeegie close to it, wonder if she uses it to wipe it clean after a hot shower.

It is a very nice mirror for sure.

*jaw drop*

wow - now that's what i consider a saucy worthy post!

Fantastic place. You make this stuck-with-her-white-walls renter very jealous.

And we've got the same Crate and Barrel bathroom accessories. I love that blue.

A-mazing! I love the decorating.. and I want your home, with all the stuff in it!

The fisheye is weird though.

And I like your TV.

I love your place! Especially the vibrant colors (I've already got a room lemon yellow with black trim, lol)

. . and I couldn't help but notice the Macintosh on the desk, is that an iMac G5, by any chance?

Yes, typing away on it in real time. I'm a diehard mac person.

Gorgeous, if a bit surreal with the fish-eye. Thanks so much for sharing, you've definitely been inspiring!

Okay, you and I could not have more different taste. I like rustic colonial with warped door frames and warped wide pine floors. I love the look that I am embrace. I love old New England.... I love it.

But suddenly, I want to give all of it up for what you posted here.....

The lighting --- so aglow amazing.
Love the orange.
And your wee zen deck --- those wooden slats look fantastic.
Did you arrange/lay them yourself?

Yeah... they are just tiles we bought.

i love it! and i totally want to steal that geometric pattern idea; it worked out amazingly well! gorgeous place!

Sauciest place I've seen yet. :)

Perhaps... but no one with pink hair lives there.

Wow!!! I love your place.
I so wish I could live there.

And I really like how you took the photos. It add a nice something.

Thanks. Photography is life... well mine anyway.

I keep looking at these pics even hours after my first post...

the idea of the lil Zen garden outside in the terrace is awesome. I would of never thought of stealing a little spot outside to do something so cool. Man, Im hiring you to decorate my new place :)

Well the design of our place was a joint effort.
